Getting Started with SKYCIG

Step 1: Charging the Battery
Blinking Battery – what does it mean? When your battery starts blinking, it is likely means that it is drained. If you try to smoke with a drained battery, the product will not work appropriately. The other reason the battery will blink is if you are over using it. In this case, slow down your frequency of drags. Step 2: Smoking SKYCIG The key to smoking the SKYCIG is to take easy, smooth pulls. Do not take an immediate huge, deep drag like a tobacco cigarette when you first start. This is counterproductive and will ultimately produce less vapour. When you first start using the cig keep these important tips in mind.
Priming the vapouriser – For your first few uses, this is very important. Hold the cigarette at a downward angle and take 10-15 short, easy "mouth pulls" and quickly release. Do not actually inhale the vapour. The goal here is to keep the battery lit for about 10 seconds without going out. This will heat up the vapouriser and release the liquid. With each "mouth pull" you should release a considerable amount of vapour. You can clearly see this in the video above. Also please note, the battery has a built in safety mechanism that will cut circuit if the battery is being used too fast or too frequently. If this occurs, the battery will blink several times and deactivate. This may not be a sign that your battery is drained, but rather you are "priming" the battery in excess. After you have primed the vapouriser (step above), start your drag with a light, short mouth pull, and then progress into a longer 5-8 second smooth drag. By starting the pull lightly, you are activating the vapouriser which will benefit the vapour production greatly. Remember, when smoking keep the battery pointed at a slightly downward angle. |

Before you do anything, first charge both your batteries. The proper way to charge the battery is to charge the case on its own first. That is, plug the case into the wall or USB, with no battery screwed in. With this, you will see the blue USB light illuminate (as long as the case doesn't already have a full charge - in which the blue light would be out). After a couple hours the blue light will go out indicating the case itself is fully charged.
A fully charged case has enough juice to recharge a battery 3+ times. This is a unique advantage in the industry; make sure you don't forget to take advantage of this! Now it is time to charge the cig batteries themselves. Take one of the batteries and screw it into the second holding slot. When you do this, the battery should blink several times and then go out. The battery is now charging. Please note, when you are charging the battery in the pack, the pack should not also be plugged into the USB/wall charger.
With the battery now screwed into the pack, the red light on the side of the case will illuminate in a constant red glow... this indicates the battery is charging. When the battery has finished charging the red light on the side of the case will start blinking or turn off completely. This usually takes 30 minutes - 1 hour. This is the proper way to charge the battery, and the way that will give the battery the fullest charge.
